Affentanz is a dark electronic music group with a penchant for provenance. They dig deep till they get to the essence of it all. With high conscious narratives revealing bewildering ideation, Affentanz’s work has a universality embedded in its overarchingly dystopian sonic structure. In their latest single, Safe Place, Affentanz trace the contours of a projected safe space with dance beats, robotic vocals, and roaming silver sonics. The backdrop is a spreading ink sphere; its harrowing insinuations and mysteries dimensionalized with minimalistic textures. The track has an uncanny Orwellian vibe to it. It drapes the listener with its unshakeable propaganda, eroding all sense of anxiety with its mantric monotonal robotic affirmation : “This is a safe place.”

Affentanz is Martin Hillebrand, André Hartmann, Moritz Zielke and Mike Schneider. And together, they craft an electro alchemy that has both vintage sonic shadows and post-modern echoes. Listeners of Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers, and the like are sure to enjoy the visionary electronic machinations and stylisations of this band. Founded in 2008, the band debuted its original sound in 2015 with EP, 2030 and has since upgraded their discography with exponentially profound sensibilities.

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music!
