Hewkii is the project of Icelandic music producer Helgi Freyr Tómasson. The artist goes looking for spaces that people often overlook and then expands it with sonic vastness. His idea of music and soundscapes are pretty fluid as he skates the fringes of trance, house, ambient, psychedelia, and prog rock. This limitlessness was first introduced in his debut album, ‘The Gaian Mind’. Across nine tracks, he contemplates on spirituality, weaving in the masterpieces of nature, mythology, divinity, technology, and memories. In a way the collection fathoms the meta world where strange abstractions unite and fuse to light up neural connections.

Taken from this album is the track ‘Bhagavad Gita’. It is a mild flow, with surreal ambience emanating from an energy core. There’s no color but light, whose waves are manipulated into the ethereal. These synths are progressively underpinned by groovy bass lines. Modern electro beats dip into a reggae rhythm. And with the bobbing beats, the synths also transition. The artist lets the song find its own personality and identity. This track is no different. Seamlessly, the frames transition and so do texture, rhythm, tonality, and energy. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
