Jaime Travezán brings his visual prowess and perspective to music in the best way. The electronic music artist and producer has a very conceptual way of presenting his work. Using unique sonic design and effects, Jaime is able to replicate the trappings of his mind and convey it without gaps. His latest release is an EP called “Everybody is so Funny”. Taken from this collection is the track Straight People Can Be Cured, in which Jaime Travezán employs cryptic and haunting electronic frames to drive the listener to a hypnotic space.
The track is a swirling mosaic of synths and dance beats that is progressively amplified by laser beat attacks, classical accents, and layers of echoes. Its overlapping design and resonant shadow sonics curate a very expressive tone and setting.
Capturing the essence of a theme or an emotion seems to be one of the artist’s strengths. Travezán was a full spectrum photographer, with intensive exposure in fields like portraiture, fashion, documentary, and photo journalism. He debuted his music in 2021 with his single, Father and has since collated an eclectic electro discography that takes the mind to new places.
