Aptøsrs (pronounced like the dinosaur, “Apatosaurus”) is composer/songwriter Paul Terry’s new instrumental, synth-infused project. His style revolves around creating landscapes of sound. Infused with thematic energies and a dynamic percussive spirit, he unravels the scene and leaves it up to the listener to find the characters, the story, and the meaning of it all. APTØSRS debuts with ‘Rust Mountain’, a composition that demonstrates the matchless storytelling ability of the artist. He uses graphic sounds, vivid gyrations. roaming basslines, and detailing melodies to orchestrate a synthetic cinema. Listen Now!

The track introduces the artist’s forthcoming album, ‘Elders’, a collection of eight tracks, each one showcasing a different shade of darkness. His sense of novelty, as demonstrated by this track, comes from his love for experimentation. And with these alien structures, he compellingly builds a dystopia that inexorably absorbs us. A play between light and darkness, he uses shadows, echos, and mirages, all mediums of the in- between to form the song. Conceptually beautiful and cerebrally liberating.

The Elders album is all set to release on the 29th of March, 2024 and is mixed by Adam Noble (Biffy Clyro, Nothing But Thieves, DON BROCO), and mastered by Grammy Award nominee Robin Schmidt (Wolf Alice, Royal Blood, Pixies).

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
