Taylor Ravenna is a progressive and novel singer-songwriter and pop artist. Her music stems out of exploration and experimentation, as she meshes futuristic electronica with hip-hop and pop. The compositions are deliberate outliers as they explore the infinity of tragedy and melancholy with bold sonic gestures and disorientating presentations. It immerses the listener in the asymmetry of a broken life. Sometimes, you’ll catch nihilistic themes or the unbeauty of healing from it all. In her latest single, ‘Taking my Luv’, Taylor Ravenna creates an atmosphere of emo-pop.

The track is constructed with brash textures, dramatic defeat and hip-hop beats. And within these structures, Taylor’s vocals are muted films of sadness, unaffected by the chaos of it all. Its lofi flow just passes through it all, leading up to a reflective pre-chorus. At this frame, it loses all texture and attains a stillness. These sonic structures are rearranged across the track and shake her vocals out of its reverie.

Taylor Ravenna debuted in 2020 and has since released eleven tracks and an album. She draws inspiration from her own life, “diving into the destructive tendencies of an alcoholic 26 year old coping with the relationship and soon-to-be death of her estranged father, sexuality and inauthentic friendships.”

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
