WickerMan is a versatile artist, performer and songwriter. His style involves an uncommon juxtaposition of sonic concepts, styles, and sounds to deliver a memorable listening experience. In his latest release, ‘Shoot You Down’ WickerMan presents a lo-fi hip-hop track brandished by fluid electronica and gangsta charisma. It carries a seamless duality that is skilfully brought out by simultaneity in textures, tonalities, and moods.

The track is a slow burn with hefty basses and intense vocals. WickerMan’s baritones have a looping simplicity to them, ‘Boom Boom Boom Boom’ ‘Bam Bam Bam Bam’. There’s a staunch hostility to them, elaborated in the effortless flow of the rap verses. He brings influences of Eminem with Bring Me the Horizon and The Prodigy to his presentations. Using gloomy rock accents, he casts more shadow and darkness to the soundscape; tempered in the chorus with sparkling synths.

Towards the end, he aggressively pyros using racing synthetic beats. And it brings an interesting angle to the established sonic poles. It blurs and clarifies all the stylistic details, mellow yet powerful, as it drives to the end. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
