It has a flowing tempo and rhythm to it, drawing from the bossa nova style of music. The track opens with intricate guitar transitioning oh so smoothly into a fabulous groove section with flutes and percussion. Impossible not to move. Alex’s playful vocals sing in Portuguese, and he is shortly joined by Jessica’s soaring, tender vocals.
The accompanying instrumentation is the standout aspect of this track. It feels spontaneous and organic in its arrangement, but also beautifully controlled and composed. The guitar solo section is immersive, hypnotic, and evocative, as if conveying a deep sense of longing for one’s homeland. We’re well aware how just how passionate and joyful Brazilians are about their culture, traditions, and music. This track firmly validates that but is also universal in its appeal and message.
‘Alex Richo – SERÁ QUE EU VOU’ is a fine selection for early evening intimate grooves. It’s festive, polished, and sophisticated, yet also emotional, spontaneous, and playful—all the right measures. An entertaining listening experience.
