From an artist who is as close to the original group as it gets. Her uncle was the late, great Tony “T-Bone” Bellamy, Redbone’s legendary guitarist and co-creator of the track! Backing Annika on this epic cover is none other than Pat Vegas, one of the last surviving members of Redbone. It’s an astounding full-circle moment of inspiration between these two collaborators. Bound by family and forever inspired by music, to take the legacy of this timeless song forward into the future.

Annika’s vocals are at the core of this reimagination. Her breezy, easygoing delivery floats on a bed of evolved harmonies. Capturing that effortless groove of the original with breezy instrumentation & lo-fi-infused effects.
