Canning is a Chicago-based rock band who are relentless in their pursuit of authenticity, diversity and individuality. With high focus on innovation and emotion, they roll with intuition and play with a passionate determination. In their latest single, Shortline, Canning develops their classic rock sound with a touch of blooming blues. Rich with vibrant sonics and grinding riffs, the track is elegantly simple, presenting its theme with profound novelty. 

The track is all about the riffs – infested with blues to form a distinctive resonance. Their fuzzy dissonance and electric personality elevates the emotion of the track to magnificent levels. Canning is composed of high school friends with Ricky Canning on the guitar and vocals, Fritz Armstrong on the bass and vocals, and Tom Miller on the drums. The impact of their sound is reminiscent of the golden age of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, especially in their ardent creativity and spirited performance. The band debuted in 2016 with their album, Disjunted and has since released five singles and an album.
