You gotta hear this! Newcomers Dead Heroes deliver a scintillating, deliciously wicked debut alt-rock track, ‘Witch Doctor’

The dynamic duo of veteran musicians Harry Young (Solcura) and Zoot Hill Valler (Deltroers) delivers a hard-hitting, melodically sublime statement piece.  In no uncertain terms, ‘Witch Doctor’ commands your attention, thrashing around on an edgy yet compelling rock sound.

We launch into a hypnotic riff rhythm, crashing drums and angsty, weary vocals.

‘Drugs to keep me underneath
Drowning me right in their grief
Tied to the undertow
Keep me silent, you don’t wanna know’

The opening lines paint a harrowing, despairing narrative of abuse, insanity, helplessness, and unfathomable darkness. The steady yet deeply ominous arrangements and melancholic guitar melodies amplify the horror felt.

“My witch doctor says he knows everything/ But what do I know/ They left me for dead, and now I’m alone”

Without warning, Dead Heroes split the track wide open with a gripping guitar slide, crushing drums and the vocals channeling their pain hypnotically.

Over and over, never again, oh no/ Sense is leaving me without a hopeGotta find another home”, ‘

The honesty is brutal yet intimate. You can almost taste the desperation and isolation ooze through the vocals and permeate through layers of unhinged lived experiences.

Dead Heroes aren’t shy to taking listeners down along with them to a darker place. Of course musically, it lands right on so many levels, from wicked riffs,  unstoppable harmonies and a killer scream to boot. The track concludes in evocative fashion with blaring distortion layers reminding us of that sweet melody before fading into oblivion.

We are jaw dropped in admiration for this sonically unbridled debut track from Dead Heroes! Remember the name.
