Strap in for an exhilarating ride from alt-rock newcomers Delta Fire, ‘Lady Danger’!
The Glasgow-based four-piece band introduces themselves to the world with some style! Their debut track, “lady Danger’, is a ripping success!! Their style lies somewhere between blues classic rock, and grunge. But with a whole lot of swagger, in-your-face, rock ‘n’ roll personality.
The track opens like something from Black Sabbath’s collection: strong driving distortion riffs, crashing drums and a bassline that just won’t quit. The tone is one of ‘edge of your seat’ excitement and adventure. ‘Lady Danger, she’s high on the streets…’ the urgent vocals declare expressively. The delivery comes through charismatically and excitedly, keeping you hooked on his every word.
Flowing at a rapid but controlled tempo with gritty, exuberant energy, it swells magnificently, building tension really well before immersing you into an eargasmic solo. The electric guitar wails superbly, delivering a razor sharp clear sound, evoking excitement and nostalgia in the same breath.
“Lady Danger” is a magnificently balanced track, refined yet gritty. It speaks volumes to Delta Fire’s confidence and coherence, delivering a debut that’s raw and vibrant yet technically sound. It exudes personality and playfulness in droves. This is the kind of track you’d kill to see them perform live. Yet, it’s recorded in a way that preserves the aggressive, driving tone of the instruments and vocals.
THE track to kick off a road trip, full of gutso and adrenaline. Play it loud. Smile, knowing that classic rock and roll is in good hands!
