Eddie Utah is a London-based singer-songwriter and folk artist who traces light acoustic lines that contour and line human lives and experiences. Within these raw and rustic boundaries, stories come alive, visual in his lyrics and authentic in his sentiment. His sophomore single is ‘Graveyard Remedy’, a track that showcases melancholy as a fluid phenomenon in a mundane context. Suffused with dreamy and soft elements, it has a very DIY, bedroom pop personality. While the folk presence is reminiscent of Joni Mitchell and Phoebe Bridgers, the pop dimension takes us to Clairo and Men I Trust.

The track occupies an intimate sphere, vulnerable and personal as it flows. Plucked guitar acoustics nicely lead up to muted synth vibrance. It aches, dim and dull as a rainy day. That’s how he manifests the melancholy, as a gentle pain that carries on under the surface, never fully vibrant but never fully blue. A state of dreary in betweenness where nothing can ever happen. The blurry concept makes for a very pleasant companion and you can’t help but associate it with indie films with stripped frames and small towns. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
