Stand Aside, Mariah Carey; Eylsia Nicolas has this year’s hottest Christmas song, ‘Hot, Hot, Christmas’!

It’s still early November at the time of writing this, but the Irish–Filipina singer-songwriter, entrepreneur, Eylsia, is already heating up the Christmas Vibe with her latest upbeat, energetic pop release, ‘Hot, Hot, Christmas’.

We open onto festive, Christmas bells & melodies, leading into Elysia’s enthusiastic opening lines, “There ain’t no snowman in San Diego, I’m telling you so you don’t go, there ain’t no ice in Miami Beach, we use our cubes for Margaritas…”

The track expands into a full-bodied pop sound with an amusing but wholly relatable message about how people the world over, especially those living in warmer climates, will be celebrating Xmas this year! Breaking myths that this festive period is only about snow and cold. Why can’t Christmas be a warm-weather thing too?

Elysia’s vocals are the standout star of this track. She delivers her lines with magnificent aplomb and personality. The use of layered vocals and euphoric harmonies in the chorus makes this an infectiously upbeat performance, one that draws you, wholeheartedly, into her ‘Hot, Hot, Christmas’ vibe!

Musically, it’s an absolute festival of sound. Combining classic festive trumpets with just the right amount of modern pop character. We especially enjoy how she takes her time to build anticipation and depth just after the 2-minute mark, looping through ‘Santa will be coming through’, before launching into a powerful crescendoing vocal section that leads into a fantastic, energetic finale. This is a track that attracts a family-friendly, Christmas party vibe and you could imagine this being the showstopper track at your party next month!

She had this to say about this track: “The song celebrates everyone who doesn’t live in – or doesn’t want – a cold, snowy Christmas. It’s upbeat, fun, and comes with an animated YouTube video featuring fan‑submitted ideas from a holiday contest.”
