‘GrooveGalore Muzik – Here I Go Again’ is an electrifying revival track of the timeless Whitesnake opus.
Befitting the original’s status, this is the flaming opening salvo in GrooveGalore Muzik’s latest album. This ain’t no half baked cover; its a stunning remake that matches the original stride for rocking stride along with infusing Groove’s signature reggae/hip hop sound. If anything, this will definitely have you listening to the original right away. Just to appreciate the Whitesnake’s larger-than-life energy, swagger, and rhythmic control.
Paul Kastick, the founder of GrooveGalore Muzik has been a prominent figure in the music biz for decades. He sings, drums, and produces and has worked alongside the best of the best. It should then come as no surprise that this track is top-notch in terms of….. welll everything! He that oh-so-sweet spot between thundering rock riffs and Caribbean party grooves and a flourish of modern synthetic effects.
Adding Rasta-powered supporting vocals and island guitars is international recording artist Beniton. His contributions go a long way in making this remake its own musical force. One that you can definitely imagine lighting up the venues in Jamaica, London, and the world over. That’s a standout aspect of this collaboration between these artists. The listening experience is one that beautifully recreates the classic hard rock elements of Whitesnake with the most infectiously groovy, upbeat Jamaican soul. Its as if the members of Whitesnake were in on this jam. But that credit goes deservedly so to members of GrooveGalore Muzik, Paul & Beniton.
