Bloom to Headmaster’s latest effervescent, upbeat pop rock track, ‘Spring to Life’!

The multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Peter Gillett heads up Headmaster, who’ve been busy at work releasing albums that align and reflect the transient energy of the changing seasons.

No clues for guessing; ‘Spring to Life’ leads the way from his latest ‘Spring’ album. and it’s a bubbling, optimistic track that does full justice to the blooming nature of this season.

The track opens with swelling atmospherics that crescendo into bright, uplifting synth tones on crisp drum beats. The tone is as if one pulled back the curtains on a dark room, and it filled up with beautiful sunshine. Not too warm and just bright enough. You can’t help but crack a smile at the uplifting, ethereal emotion on display here.

The opening verse begins softly with a hint of melancholy expressed in the first verse. ‘Not everyone happy, when you spring to life, they’re thinking you crazy, out of your time….’

The verse hits back radiantly, emphasizing that the amazing blooming energy of spring flowing through you can’t really be contained and should be cherished! This flows into the chorus with the title refrain sung with infectious optimism.

‘Spring to Life’ has this gorgeous momentum in the pace and tempo. Headmaster makes great use of spacing between sections with pleasing, uplifting synth rock arrangements that allow for delightful daydreaming before the next verse begins!

We love the core message being communicated here, which is to get in touch with the spring within yourselves, to not let stormy dispositions of those around you bring you down, and to ultimately shine bright and be super kind and grateful as you ‘Spring to Life’!

Truly a song for the season!
