Hibernator is not your ordinary rock band. They unite spanning influences of rock, trapping them in an alternative net of interpretation. When they infuse it with power, it mutates, becoming a modern rock force that celebrates the classic but trudges on victoriously into contemporary wilderness. Their latest track, ‘Dog Years’ is a prime example of this spirit.

Opening with revving grooves, bass heavy, beat powered frame, they cast the listener into a charismatic rhythm. The vocals unites hard rock with hard core, before smoothening out into a mellow, melodic line. And all of this within the first minute of the track. They break barriers and boundaries, both with high sonic power and delicate creativity.

This living contrast is quite an intricate frame to experience. There are of course a lot of experimentals that define the track, the vocals being the most dominant one. Oscillating between emoting and contemplating, it moves between the past and the future. The riff work is especially epic, fitting both moods seamlessly and spectacularly. It is strong but flexible to become contextualized by the moving moods and atmospheres of the rest of the track. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
