Indie soloist Isaac Vino’s latest, ‘Let Me Go’ is a heartfelt, emotional, bluesy tear-jerker.

Echoing a sound similar to Vance Joy’s raw vocals and minimal guitars and Chris Martin’s early tracks, such as ‘Trouble’ & ‘Green Eyes’. Vino has a compelling vocal delivery style paired with the most soulful guitars you’ll hear today. We learn that he created this track, completely in isolation, in the aftermath of a painful separation, as an ode to that experience.

The track opens with faint background sounds of a children’s park or a public place paired with the aforementioned soulful instrumentation. Isaac’s deep, soulful vocals enter, dancing upon bass key notes. His tone, dripping with painful emotion and vulnerability. What’s endearing is that he sings in full swing, imperfections and all. The artist can make us feel deeply as he feels. The chorus is particularly emotional, centered around three painful words—’Let ‘Me Go.’ It’s part heartbreaking request, part painful surrender.

At just over 2 minutes, ‘Let Me Go’ doesn’t overstay its welcome. Just as gently as it began, it fades into silence. Leaving the listener to feel the gravity of the emotion expressed. Isaac chooses to craft this using minimal production; no fancy effects or adornments are audible here. Just his voice, a few instruments, and a heavy, aching heart.

This is a track to help you get through some of life’s most painstaking moments or to maybe address any lingering sadness within. Just maybe, hearing ‘Let Me Go’ can provide some solace and be a medium for catharsis.
