Wake up and smell the awesome brewing! That’s J.B Protocol’s latest folk rock ballad, ‘The World Spins (Chill Pill)’!

Tapping into the daily existential crisis we’re living through, this sublimely cool track combines pop, jazz, country, blues and rock, powered by AI, to deliver something really spiritually and musically special.

Taken off J.B’s latest album release, ‘Guests Until The Final Bill’, ‘The World Spins’ has so much going for it. Smoky vocals, Witty lyricism, catchy hooks, smooth AF transitions and the coolest electro-jazz-rock arrangements you’ve heard! Think Nick Cave meets Muse,  Gorillazand Radiohead! That’s some crazy level of rizz right there!

The track opens cinematically, like the sun rising over a metropolis. The vocals, clear and country-esque, paint a vivid picture of a day in the life of. Of whom? Well, that’s the beauty. It could be any one of us the track is referring to. What’s important is the perspective it offers. A glimpse behind the curtains of this show we call life. A groovy reminder that all that glitters ain’t so valuable, and it’s really the small joys that matter.

The theme of living in peaceful, ‘take a chill pill’ acceptance of our own mortality comes up quite a bit.

‘The world spins around, As it always will. “We’re only guests until the final bill, so enjoy your time” is advice worth considering seriously.

Built upon excellent sound quality and design, you can’t help but feel the weight of these words but also feel liberated by them. We especially love the instrumental interludes injected between verses that make this track feel like something from times past but firmly reflect the craziness of the present.
