The Jazz Rap and Punk Hip-Hop artist, JUNK is back with a brand new release, Squakin Like A Bird! In true JUNK style, he brings the quirky and whimsy to the forefront as he explores a commonplace theme with a profound musical arrangement. The track is a combination of naturalistic ambient music, sax orchestras, funk harmonies, and narrative verses. These frames form in an overlapping format, completed by the sassy vocal output. 

The track claps back at the misinformation that is spread and appropriated through the internet. “Squakin Like A Bird, opinion that’s absurd, I don’t care what you read on the f*cking internet.” It opens with chirping bird sounds that perhaps alludes to the platform that is most known for trolling, moral policing, and hate – Twitter. A soft funk atmosphere loops into a smooth sax flow to form the backdrop for Junk’s verses. The artist uses dotting hip hop beats to reconcile the hard intoned verses with the seamless lines of the sax to form a unitary sonic sphere.
