Løve Outlier is an indie project led by singer-songwriter and artist, Luke Bodi. Born out of love for punk rock and emotional music, the group explores a range of genres and themes. Love Outlier has just released their sophomore track, Alligator. The track is an acoustic bliss with swelling textures of guitars, violins, and pianos. Using neo-classical molds and romantic tones, the artists lend the song with an incredible emotional dimension. Which is elevated by an insurmountable vocal performance by Luke, as he claws at high scales to convey the depth of the sentiment.
The track opens on a mellow note with undulating melodies and blooming harmonies. While the drizzling guitar strings lead the ensemble, the piano and violin accents are used to form sophisticated imprints on the canvas. The underlying softness bridges the emotional gaps in the drastic vocal progressions. And it is truly exalting to witness the melancholy in the theme to soar across the vocal scale. Its surreal heights draw out a dazed consciousness that is both profound and delirious at the same time. You can’t help but feel that the whole soundscape is intuitive and alive in some sense; as each sonic fragment is so attuned to the overarching emotion of the song.
The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
