Who doesn’t love ‘Butterflies’? LTB’s latest is a groovy, lo-fi-infused, synth-pop opus.

Logan Barnhill, aka LTB, certainly has a way with words. Blessed with a soulful, honey-like voice that he puts to great use here, along with rich, lush synths and ethereal ambient soundscapes. LTB gets his inspiration from artists like The Weeknd, Post Malone, and Hozier. He certainly does well to blend breezy vocals, airy production, and infusions of R&B, pop, and jazz to create a unique sound with ‘Butterflies’.

At its core, this track is a realistic reflection of being in love. Lyrically, it beautifully captures the essence of being in love. From the sky highs to crushing lows and everything in between. LTB has a naturalistic approach to his songwriting here. He uses these cute references to natural elements like flowers and butterflies of course! There’s a delicate poetic quality to his words.

Musically, the track is a sheer delight to listen to. Its the kind of the track that makes you want to lay down in the warm morning sun and smile. Right from its start, you get mesmerized by its smooth, meditative, lo-fi soundscape. Floating like a butterfly, it flows effortlessly into a hypnotic groove, lush synths, introspective strings, and crisp beats. The track makes some smart transitions, moving from ambient to more pop-focused, back to the ethereal grooves.

The tempo is a beautiful balance between stillness and flow. Kinda like a butterfly in action. The use of subtle backing, layered vocals add yet another dimension to this opus. This feels like the kind of track to just get lost within.

Perfect for daydreamer and creators alike, ‘Butterflies’ is a mesmerizing track to lighten, inspire and groove along to.
