Oh Hannah is the artist project of London-based songwriter Hannah Khan. Layering 80s inspired electro-pop with dreamy vocals and affecting vulnerability, the artist cultivates an authenticity with which to connect with her audience. Seemingly confessional and personal, Hannah spills her soul into her compositions and lyricism. In her sophomore single, Alexi, Oh Hannah beautifully strings dainty vocals to light up the ethereal synth backdrop. This track, like her debut single, Everybody Thinks I’m Strange, anticipates the release of her five track EP that is set to be released later this year. 

The soundscape is constructed with a deliberate minimalism. Delicate dots and dashes of synths trace the lithe curves of the vocals, carrying it into the bokeh background, twinkling with dreamy pinks and blues. 

Tuned to a magical realism frequency, it touchingly brings the song to life with beautiful visuals and sentiment.
