OLYM is a New-York-based singer-songwriter and pop artist. His contemporary style and affectation evolves out of a more classical provenance. It has the dramatic keys and instrumental roles to show for it. There are orchestral structures that he sets up to timely elevate or escalate sonic events within his soundscapes. His release is ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, a track that he presents as a contemplative endeavor. There are remarkably expressive quotients, so fervent and real. 

The track is on the mellower side of baroque, especially relative to bands like Panic! At the Disco. However it is a contemplative piece and an intimate presentation. We see the baroque lightly, manifesting in the reinforcing spirit of the harmonies, the floating rhythms, enriching textures, and the emo undertones of the vocals.
