All aboard! Omega Train’s wicked new indie rock track ‘Ride or Die’ is here!
The Jersey-based indie rockers Omega Train deliver a blistering hard rock track that exudes a fiery power and passion. Led by the Outlaw’s gripping guitar lines and lead vocalist Cobra’s grand vocals, ‘Ride or Die’ feels like the soundtrack to a modern, dystopian, action-packed western flick. Instead of horses, our heroes here ride on unstoppable Diesel-powered locomotives across the vast barren country, brave, unbridled and abso-effing-lutely free!
We open onto ominous train sirens and crossing alarms, letting you know that the Omega Train is coming through. Short, explosive blast of blues rock arrangements rise into the air, gathering momentum before rolling into the opening verse.
Cobra paints a visceral picture of life on the train, his voice theatrical and honest as he sings, ‘…let the train roll on..’. The chorus is engaging and catchy, with layered vocals compelling you to ‘Ride or Die’ as the pulsating rhythmic sections roars ahead.
Special mention to the drums here, absolutely on fire and superbly holding the rapid rhythm and pace, picking it up to an incredible double bass drum line at ease. Just prior to the three-minute mark, the Outlaw launches into a scintillating guitar solo backed by the organ melodies.
This is a group that’s operating at a different level of cohesive energy and drive. Just like the moving parts of a steam engine, all the individual components of Omega Train are in beautiful sync and support of each other in a way that makes you really engage with the track’s feel.
Omega Train are laying the tracks for something truly special here. Modern, hard-hitting blues rock with a soul.
