Omer Netzer releases a swinging, grooving, dynamic country blues rock opus ‘Low High’.
Originally from Israel, now settled in Nashville, Omer embraces his current Americana influences to deliver a fiery ode to love, complete with culturally rich atmospherics, his smokey, raspy vocals, and divine instrumentals.
The artist had this to say about the inspiration behind ‘Low High’: “It’s a story about how love can wreck you and still feel like the only thing worth holding onto.” He continues: “If you’ve ever loved someone like hell, then you already know what this is.”
The lyrics capture the electric chemistry of a romantic connection, how it swings from good times to great and sometimes downright crazy. Lines like Kissing turned to cursing and turned to fighting.” capture that brilliant unpredictability in such a relationship. The chorus is infectiously catchy, as he sings “I go low, you go high / We land somewhere in the middle,” indicating that after all that craziness, it comes down to making a choice and returning to a momentary, loving peace.
The standout aspect of ‘Low High’ is its lush, rich instrumentation. We’re treated to a wide range of sonic elements, from wholesome claps and tambourine beats to organs and electrifying guitars. A delicious guitar solo played around the 2-minute mark is a must-listen, making this track an all-out, feel-good dance-along.
Ultimately, ‘Low High’ is a wholesome, thoroughly entertaining, well-composed country rock track with a heart of gold. Omer is captivating with his passionate vocal delivery and energizing instrumentation. We look forward to hearing more from this artist!
