‘Poems – NFS’ is a fantastically fiery/breezy, indie rock opus that will have you guessing its every move.

Laden with intensity, energy and purpose, ‘NFS’ is the latest release from this immensely talented four piece, launches into its distinctive groove from the very first beat. Thundering riffs and crisp drum beats rip through the start, setting the ground for the some of smoothest vocals we’ve heard in awhile! The tone of voice is sultry and confident, dare we say Elvis-like! That’s just how good it sounds to us. The addition of ‘oooh-ing’ backing vocals add that extra dimension of euphoria to the overall composition. The track shifts with such confidence and panache, its almost hard to keep pace with the constantly changing, dizzying soundscape.

At the halfway mark, there’s a brief respite, the track slows down, taking a darker, melancholic tone. Distorted guitar ache in the background with energetic drums. Then comes the most powerful section of the track, crescendo-ing vocals are mirrored by the guitars, creating a transcendental feeling. Like that first kiss or biting into a really sweet fruit. Its all-consuming, powerful and surreal.

The production and composition here leave nothing to be desired. The symphony of the individual elements pair excellently creating an unforgettable listening experience. ‘Poems – NFS’ is one of our favorite indie rock tracks of 2025!

Of course, there’s so much to like about ‘Poems – NFS’. That way it flows with conviction and curiosity, the fresh new sound that Poems bring to the table. Bright, energetic and full of purpose. Fans of Artic Monkeys, Radiohead, Porcupine Tree will absolutely love the smart transitions, ethereal atmospherics and euphoric harmonies.
