Aussie hard rockers Razor Burn’s newest release is a searing, electrifying expression of their individuality and refusal to fit in!

Their sound can be loosely compared to Tool, AC/DC & GreenDay. From the get-go, they go full tilt with everything they’ve got, carving an ominous opening chorus with wicked heavy riffs, thunderous drums, and soaring vocals screaming, ‘We don’t belong here’.

The build tension and emotionality brilliantly through the verse, and a short bridge before launching back in the fiery chorus, laden with intent and intensity. The lyrics speak to a crushing sense of disillusionment that many of us feel, living through these times. We’re chasing time, deadlines, and material things, and to what end? What does it all even mean? What happens after we die? Do we just disappear into the void?

Razor Burn asks these difficult questions of us listeners in the most blistering way. They aren’t preaching or prophesying at all. Instead, they just express their anguish and despair at the state of affairs through their hard-hitting sound.

Musically, they deliver a tight, precise performance. Each of them knows the sound really well; they possess a fantastic cohesion within the group. The recording, production and mastering is well executed too, resulting in a high-quality audio delivery. The rest is all down to this track’s excellent no-nonsense songwriting and structure.

With a handful of releases under their belt so far, Razor Burn are newcomers to the scene, but they don’t sound anything like it. We look forward to hearing from this promising rock group!
