Knuckle up to Roman Cheglov’s grungy, hard rock track, ‘Fight’!
The distortion-powered punk rock track evokes an adrenaline-fueled excitement as Roman taps into that perhaps most primal of human instincts: to fight!
We open onto deafening, ruthless distortions, crashing drums, and chaotic, upbeat melodies. Roman’s raging opening vocals ring loud above the rocking arrangements, Ozzy-esque at its most commanding!
It’s been a while since we’ve listened to a rock sound this raw, primal, and engaging. And that’s exactly what ‘Fight’ delivers. A thoroughly enjoyable, rambunctious, bull in a china shop kind of punk rock energy that screams to be played loud and defiant.
But don’t be fooled into thinking this is all muscle. Underneath its roaring distortion rock engine is a beautifully polished, bluesy sound, combined with expert musicianship and songwriting.
We particularly enjoyed the section just past the 2-minute mark, when Roman passes the crazy torch to his key player to take it home, who launches into an absolute beast of a solo! Riding strong on the rock arrangements, the solo is vibrant, expressive, and downright hype-worthy, leading to this ‘Fight’s conclusion.
If you’re a professional fighter of any discipline, this is the kind of entrance music you’d want to walk down the ramp to. Goes without saying, this would be a fantastic addition to your workout or high-intensity activity playlists.
Roman’s keeping that 80s epic rock soul alive with superb grace and personality. We love what we’re rocking out to with ‘Fight’ and look forward to hearing more from him!
