Austrian guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Rupert Träxler combines technical skill with emotional depth. After years in various bands, he’s now realizing his own artistic vision as a solo artist.

His latest release, ‘The Journey’ is an intriguing, nuanced piece of music that exudes emotion, curiosity, and innovation in droves. Crashing layers of sound, distortion, and drums upon which Rupert’s layered vocals glide the track towards a sublime finale with the last words, ‘A Journey Within.’

We can’t imagine a more fitting sonic metaphor for the experience or realization of what it really means to take a journey within. ‘The Journey’ perfectly encapsulates that place of indescribable calmness and reflection, a place that indeed resides within each one of us.
