Televised Mind is a post punk movement. A band that does it all and does whatever they want. Based on Lincoln, they fly with stylistic freedom in ways that marked the 90s. It has that retro rebellion ethos, one that is staunch, passionate, and charismatic. Their latest release is ‘National Hero’, a track streaked with electric guitars, leaving behind sonic debris that has great intrinsic value. 

The track opens with a carrying electric guitar shred, all amped up, drummed up, and anthemic. It arises from a softer plane, a sort of 70s melodic rock/ indie rock/ funk space. The mellow, understatedly technicolor flows give off a beach-washed vibe that sets the perfect mood for the upcoming summer. 

The verses are contemplative and intellectual, punk storytelling that matches the momentum and mood of the instrumentals.
