The Immaculate Crows released their latest single “My Sister and Me” and it’s a song that’ll fill your heart and leave you with a smile on your face. Decorated with playful tunes and joyful soundscapes, the track incorporates harmonica for the opening solo and a few lines in between. This brings about a very jolly and country feel to the entire track. Not to mention the soothing keys and the airy accordion which provides a calm and dreamy soundscape for the melody to work its magic. Even the guitar solo that features in-between the verses gives out such country vibes. The song is a special one as it talks about family. How belonging to a family is cause enough for celebration and joy, the song reminds us about what is special and what we often take for granted. The simplistic lyrics and the joyful ambience make for an upbeat track that is also rich with elegant and soulful melodies.
Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, the band was formed by Bruce Neilsen back in 1981. However, the band broke up and materialised decades later in 2019 with former band member Mark Hocknell. After the departure of Mark in 2021, The Immaculate Crows went on to feature several artists who collaborated with the band to create music. Bruce Neilsen continues to explore and experiment with music and themes with his decades of experience creating beautiful works of art such as “My Sister and Me” and continues to cater to his fans and the world of music.
