The Trouble Notes was formed in the spirit of musical revolution and renaissance. Characterized by novelty, individuality, and spirited expression, they sought to create their own cultural universe. Sitting somewhere between world folk, modern classical, and tribal dance music, The Trouble Notes have traveled their way across continents in search of musical influences. In their brand new single, Banjolorian, The Trouble Notes present an eclectic fusion of violins, banjo, and drums.
Their representation of vintage styles and musicality in modern builds can be apparently evidenced in this new single. The instrumental is a layered loop, with each instrument completing the melodic sentence of the other. With wispy brevity, the violins accentuate the banjo motif. Each frame is made up of new patterns, introduced and concluded by a drum sting.
The Trouble Notes are Bennet, Florian, and Carola. Since their formation in 2013, the trio has performed at some of Europe’s largest festivals and videos of their performances have been viewed more than 100 million times on social media. They have scored multiple award-winning films including Als Paul über das Meer kam and Carracci: La Rivoluzione Silenziosa and have toured in support of the Grammy-winning artists America & Rodrigo y Gabriela.
The track is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
