Newcomer Tina Win charms with her evocative, self-titled debut dance-pop EP!
The Romanian artist has had quite the journey. Before, she interned at Allure and Cosmo, worked backstage at Fashion Week. Fatigued from dealing with toxic fashion culture, she made a bold move. To redefine herself as a pop artist.
Drawing from her inspirations, mold-breaking, generational artists like Fleetwood Mac, Eminem, Ke$ha, and Marilyn Monroe, Tina dove straight into the studio. The result is a breathtakingly original, quirky, free-spirited collection of dance pop tracks. ‘One Night Renegrade’ rounds off this trio of entertaining pop tracks from Tina. Its a grandiose, celebratory tone expressed here. Tina’s rebellious vocal tone and descriptive lyrics paint a picture of a wild prom night with her ‘One Night Renegrade’. Its a smart, well composed track that takes a fun, flippant look at the chaos and juvenile, naughty fun that ensues on hormone-driven prom nights.
‘Tina Win’ displays admirable range and control throguh these tracks. Whats remarkable is how shes able to craft immersive, relatable narratives around topics that Gen-Z would 100% relate to.
