Charming pop arrangements lead into T!MØ’s opening lines. He sings with a renewed belief and hope, ‘I sleep much better, knowing you lay right next to me….’. His vocal tone was honest and confident, like a man reborn and in love with life. This is brilliantly contrasted by a raw vulnerability, reflected in the sound, swaying between upbeat to anxious.
T!MØ’s use of spacing adds much depth and soul to the opus. It’s beautifully balanced, with plenty of superb transitional flow. We particularly enjoyed the section just after the 3 min mark, a delicate, soulful build-up with just the coolest guitar strums that form the base of the glorious crescendo. His voice takes euphoric flight, a moment of sheer sonic bliss.
T!MØ’s vocals and honest, bare it all storytelling is no doubt the highlight of this track. His silky smooth voice exudes a genuine care and strength, elevating the emotional core to feel deeply personal and emotive.
