Ubiquity Machine is a highly conscious alternative and indie duo from Washington, DC.  As their name suggests, their sound is Influenced by everything in this post-genre world, including electronic, pop, rock, and synths. The band is dedicated to comment on the affairs of the modern world. Using critical rhetoric and caricatured constructs, they expound on themes like privacy, free will, information, and autonomy, etc. In this latest single, Radio, Ubiquity Machine uses dystopian arrangements and narratives to create a sense of mild anxiety about the invisible dictates that control our society.

Radio opens with high strung acoustics. Progressively layered with beats, bass lines and electronic accents, it evolves throughout the song. Tuned into the vocal narrative, its arrangements change and adapt to suit the context. The concentric vocal vapors spread across the soundscape with hypnotic rhythm. It is delivered with devotion and defiance, submission and revolt. This dual purpose beautifully surmises the influence of social media and the internet. The last two lines further reinforce this double-thinking mind – “Bow down to the machine.” “How did I get here?”

The track is available for streaming on popular platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
