Unified Move is out with their new album “Anger” and the second song of the album is called “Fight to Survive”. The song features the Swiss band Freezes Deyna. As the title of the album suggests, anger is one of the main themes of the album and the song “Fight to Survive” is the embodiment of the emotion. Eruptions all over, the powerful guitar riffs annihilate everything in its path. The talented drummer manages to keep up with the fast-paced riffs with the fiery beats that flow with the music defining the structure of the song. The song reminds you of the 80’s hardcore scene with its rapid-fire verses and high-intensity growls. The song sounds well produced as the layers are introduced without overpowering any of the other elements, providing a rounded feel to the track.
Hailing from Switzerland, Unified Move is an in-your-face hardcore band that makes you feel alive and kicking. In the song “Fight to Survive” the band explores some powerful themes, rage and anger being an integral part of it. It is conveyed seamlessly in their poetic lyrics and the heavy riffs. In fact, at certain portions of the song, I felt influences from the thrash metal genre, making the track extremely heavy and loaded. The insane breakdowns after the first verse and throughout the song make you headbang like there’s no tomorrow. This band and the song are definitely not for the light-hearted as it breaks the ceiling with its power and gravitas.
