Vé/Zé’s latest, ‘New Car’ featuring Rádi Nóra, is your stirring indie-pop wake-up call to embrace change and renewal!

Nothing speaks quite so strongly to that desire to break out of the old and step into a new version of your life as the idea of getting a new car. That’s exactly the uplifting, exciting energy that Hungarian artist, producer and songwriter Zoltan Varga, aka Vé/Zé taps into here. Teaming with longtime collaborator and vocalist Radi Nora, whose powerful deep tenor brings conviction and attention to this opus.

We open on urgent, emotional piano arrangements and crisp beats, instilling a sense of aliveness and rebellion. That theme continues with Radi’s opening vocals describing the inner workings of minds that so badly seek an exciting change and an itch that only getting into a new car could satisfy.

The arrangements remind one of groovy electro-pop-rock bands of the 80s and 90s that were built upon sheer captivating emotion and euphoric expression. It’s the kind of track you can listen to several times over and still feel just as moved and inspired.

The visual imagery included in the lyrics, associated with the new car experience, the smells, the touch and most importantly the feelings, are repeatedly emphasized in the lyrics. Radi’s vocals are one of the standout aspects of this track. We just love the way, she sweeps you up in her flowing melodies. The swelling, evocotive electro retro pop arrangements are a perfect backing energy to hers, making this a track thats got panache and personality in droves.

‘New Car’ has this captivating, energizing effect upon you. Sure, the idea of a new car excites most people, but these artists go deper and tap into the heart of what it means to be an adventure seeker. A stirring reminder to us all to never settle!
