Despite The Wane is a rock band based in Rome, Italy. Powered by a 70s sonic ethos and 90s consciousness, their themes come alive inside of compelling soundscapes. You’ll perhaps pick up on their fascination for darkness. And they explore it on vehicles of gothic, alternative, progressive, and electronic forms of rock. It’s a seamless flow as they blend one style with another to fathom a unique presence. The band has debuted with the ‘Beyond That Wall’ Album, a collection that carries and portrays the theme through progressive instrumentals, alternative vocals, and transcendental ideas. With each track, you get a glimpse of a new age of rock.

The title track makes for a dystopian introduction. Opening with a haunting vocal arc, it picks up with striking riffs, voluminous basslines, and driving beats. With the vocalist’s dissonant performance in the backdrop, the soundscape smoothly kicks into a prog rock formation. But it doesn’t evolve one dimensionally. It acquires depth, emits perspective and tremendously spreads across the soundscape. It dilates in so many trajectories that it seems to gain a pseudo psychedelic rock accent as well. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
