The drive of Emotion Kapture is progressive to say the least. Powered by exaltating alternative rock, elevated by electronic influences, and dimensionalised by post rock, the band poses a rock hyperactivity that is arresting and consuming. Their debut earlier this year, with ‘Some Kind of Star’ with Phil Dennett introduced their spanning range, boundless and bottomless. Its textured, moody, and dazing sounds fathomed a lo-fi sonic desert with undulating dunes of melodies.

With their sophomore release, ‘Corrupted File’, we see a more futuristic, dynamic, and active rhythm. Sizzling basslines ring into the whiplash riffs, wandering synths, and punching beats. There’s that punk edge to the soundscape that is absorbed by them all and then reflected back like an alien frequency. The band works in symmetries, forging cryptic sonic codes and connection. They demonstrate the chaos in the theme very conceptually and cerebrally. You’ll spot the 70s rock ethos extended by 80s reminiscent synthwave accents and signature 90s alternative edge. Original, novel, and visionary to say the least! Listen Now!
