Queen Daxene is a studio project by London musician, Alex Denny. His approach to music is that of a treasure hunter, as he excavates the ruins of human experience in search of sonic gold and melodic gems. Inspired very closely by daily perceptions and personal life, his songs are warm pop rock indulgences that remind the listener of old school bands like The Beach Boys, The Ramones, and the like. The artist has just released a second official album under the banner called Barnstormer. Taking from this collection is a lilting country/folk rock track, Reflection that aptly showcases the listening experience of Queen Daxene.

With splashy acoustics looped into feel good arrangements, the track has an incredibly warm pallet. The lyrics are born out of an insightful mind as they empathetically narrate the thematic sentiment. As the soundscape develops, a wealth of rock layers and design, in the form of soaring riffs and beats, flows in to dimensionalize the ruminative atmosphere. Alex’s baritones sail through the luminous melodies, its low tonal amiability smiling through the canvas. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
