She Made Me Do It is an alt rock duo of Shaheena Dax and Will Crewdson. They are known widely for the work they did with Rachel Stamp, a cult-rock outfit. Their rock compositions have a drawling hypnotism to them that impel cerebral sensibilities to the forefront. She Made Me Do It has just released their EP titled Artificial. Consisting of five songs, it explores the fabric of feeling and emoting, warping them with heightened melancholia and subtle psychedelia. Listen Now!

The title track leads the album with its undulating outwordliness. In shaping the foreign, they wade through familiar waters. With a deliberately slowed down tempo, each sonic moment is dilated to embed the odyssey into the listener. Each riff, bass line, and beat unravels in slow-motion, absorbing us into its dazing folds as it suspends time. Shaheena’s vocals are haunting ribbons of tragedy, fiery and passionate. The sentiment spreads, seeping into the instrumental progressions to curate a sensational climax.

She Made Me Do It is reminiscent of a mix between Amy Winehouse and Pink Floyd. Using psychedelia to activate sadness, their soundscapes have refreshing sonic momentums.

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
