The Busketeers have just put out a self-titled sophomore album. It reinforces their melodic country rock style as they array luminous instrumentation alongside heartfelt vocals. The collection of eight songs, in many ways, explores life cycles from melancholic, yet hopeful perspectives. And staying true to the country appeal, the tracks dispel musical blues in touching ways. Taken from this album is the folk-americana track, Arrows. It seamlessly blends long-winded country acoustics with licks of pop and a folk undercurrent.
The track is placed penultimately in the album. While its predecessors flesh out rock and soul blues within the country structures, Arrows deliver an elating folk-country rawness that warms the soul. Be it the acoustic riff led rhythm or the molten pulses of melody. Voiced by Matthew Gordon Price, his bare baritones deliver a candor that further elevates the song. Listen Now!
The Busketeers are Kendall Williams, Luke Engel (part of the band Wild Fenn), Matthew Gordon Price, and Olly Parker. They debuted in 2017 with the ‘Different Breeds’ album and have returned six years later with a revived soul and sound.
The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
