The Killing Tapes are a conceptually rich alt-rock band. There’s so much value that is to be derived from their music that spans dimensions of post rock, electro-rock, and hard rock. Listening to them is an exercise in sensual hallucinations. They are stimulating in ways that you wouldn’t expect but when it flows through you, they touch such complex spaces that you thought were inexplicable. The Killing Tapes have just released their EP titled ‘Falling Down (Red)’. All six tracks are sourced from cerebral melody palates, underscored definitely by hypnotic sensibilities.

‘There is No Way’ opens the collection with a melodramatic apology. Resounding in its thawing melancholy, ethereal synth streams, and smoky baritones. Across the soundscape, you will also pick up on experimental ambits that inspire reflective tangents and emotional power. The tracks also mildly reference artists like Pink Floyd, Sigur Rós, and Cocteau Twins. Listen Now!

Formed in 2020, The Killing Tapes are Marcus Crede (Kreatur and others) and Peter Svensson (Mary Celeste, Hello Heartland).

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
