Won’t Say Rabbit is a New Jersey rock band who can only be described as electric. They have a very strong sonic presence, especially in how they revive the genre. It is classic, vintage, old school, and authentic. The texture crunch of garage rock, its rogue and rough edges, and scratched surfaces are extremely grand. That’s the base anyway. And upon that, they build a castle of blues, alt rock, punk, and a whole lot of grunge. 

Won’t Say Rabbit is Brian (guitar & W.S. Rabbit drawings) Tom (bass guitar & keyboards) and Beth (vocals). Drummers through the years were: Frank, John, Billy, and Juan. They debuted in 1990 and have since been rendering powerful bounties of rock. Listen Now! 

Their latest single is ‘Just a Prisoner’. It is as alive as a piece of music can get. The distortion levels are up there and the beats are groovy and punching. Beth’s smoky vocals quiver with blues, growing more confident and bold by the minute. Imagine a contemporary Janis Joplin cruising the rowdy and charismatic streets of Ramone’s punk, The Who’s riffs, and REM’s alt rock spread.
