ALIA creates an atmosphere of curving acoustics and deep vocal resonance in latest release, ‘I’m Getting Off – Radio Edit’. The artist is a non-conforming musician and singer-songwriter who loves to find and forge music that feels true to them. Growing up as a queer person, they have lived and experienced the gray area. And it is from this place that they muster and develop resistance to convention. This track is ALIA’s sophomore single, following the release of their debut EP, ‘Soho Sessions • Side A’.

It forms in a dispersed soundscape, speckled with glinting acoustics. ALIA’s vocals on the other hand is a strident streak of power and emotion, reminiscent of artists like Adele, Lady Gaga, and Gwen Stefani. The raw vulnerability of the vocals is cast into the vacuous backdrop and takes a life of its own. It is as if an invisible hand is molding the darkness with the lyrical perspective. Without symmetrical rhythms or a strong melody lines, it is fantastic how the artist commands and holds the listener’s heart. Listen Now!
