Taken from this album is the track, ‘Red Guelder Rose (Chervona Kalyna)’. Named after the national symbol of Ukraine (where it is known as Kalyna), it symbolizes fire. In Slavic Mythology, the Kalyna Bridge is believed to connect the worlds of the living and the dead. And in this spirit, the track rings with themes like salvation, brotherhood, peace, and prayer. Cast in an atmosphere of rustic strings, the vocals spill with sweet poetry that is simultaneously lamentous and celebration. Listen Now!

Brothers Ivan debuted in 2007 with Vol I and has since consistently released beautiful volumes of sublime folk music that set out human emotions with such rich contexts and mythology.

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
