Angora is the sophomore single of alt folk and singer-songwriter band Canterbury Bells. The track is a lilting dalliance of softness and color, in ways that are reminiscent of artists like Nick Drake, Sufjan Stevens, and Neil Young. The group brings a variety to minimalistic presentations. The bare vocals are touched, cradled, and swayed by gentle melodic strokes. Combined with the ideals of simplicity, freedom, harmony, peace, and love that they bring to the song, the listener can’t help but sway into the soft wonders that they fathom. Listen Now!

Canterbury Bells is composed of Sean Emmett Thompson, Ryan Ehresman (’59), Ezra Teshome and Liam McKay (Moving Van). Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, they are influenced by the grandeur of nature and constantly seek to bring a culture of humility, kindness, and compassion to their music. Their tracks are often washed with a simultaneity of profound emotion and elementary sensibilities, and together, they form an affecting and heartfelt continuum. The band debuted earlier this year with their single, ‘My Days’. Following the release of Angor, they are all set to release more of their work, either by the end of this year or early next year.

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
