Neil Erickson is a Santa-Barbara based singer-songwriter and indie-pop artist and brings the sunny beach town charm with him! The artist delivers hearty, slice of life commentaries on all things he encounters, including love, relationships, self, etc. Largely autobiographical, his music usually has a home grown sound to it, speaking to his individualistic style and self-taught pride. His latest release is a song called Girl Next Door. Using universal imagery and narrative lyricism, Neil causes the scene to form effortlessly behind the eyes. Listeners of Ed Sheeran, Charlie Puth, and early Harry Styles are sure to enjoy the easy warmth and geniality of this artist’s compositions.

This one is an acoustic pop song. Opening with gentle and mellow streaks of strings, it is laden with loose beats and peppered with fuzzy baritones. The chorus is driven up with trumpet melodies placed subtly between lines of guitar melodies. Finger plucked ukulele sounds float into the second verse to form a reservoir of feel-good acoustics. And as the story unfolds, the artist turns up the emotions to make it more immersive. Organically crafted and shaped, the track is definitely full of charm and song.

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and Amazon Music!
