Peppermint Moon is a dream-pop outfit with prominent blues, folk-rock, and psychedelic dimensions. Their discography is an enchanting litany of musical compositions that sideline overdone narratives with novel and unique ideas. The band has just released their latest EP titled ‘Pocket Dial Tears’. Across the six tracks, they swing through folk rock ballads, molding sentiment and emotion into each line. Taken from this collection is the track, ‘Above Clouds’. This track unites so many of the group’s influences, classic and contemporary; ranging from The Beatles, and The Beach Boys to Nick Drake, Neil Young, and Joni Mitchell.

The track is sprinkled with soft piano acoustics that is progressively bolstered by pop hooks and rock riffs. And with warm baritones drenched in dazing melancholy, it presents like a forming cloud. With each passing verse, we see new accents and conceptual undercurrents glint into the folk rock flow.

Peppermint Moon debuted in 2019 with the album, ‘Symphony of Sympathy’. With singles, ‘Mr. Manager’ and ‘A Million Sons’ they explicitly enlarged their soundscapes, indulging more genres and styles, which has carried into this EP as well. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
