Romain Gutsy is not your average singer-songwriter. The French artist draws from poetry’s past, blending it with nostalgic melodic plays to craft rustic pop-rock music that takes us back to The Beach Boys, Bee Gees era. For his latest release, Lany, Romain Gutsy collaborates with fellow artist, Marc Bentel to present a unique flavor of musical artistry.

The track is a feel-good melody. Built into it is the tumultuous experience of being in love. Using a combination of acoustics, soft rock riffs, snaking bass lines and country styled accordions, Romain erects a bright and light-hearted canvas. And as a stellar contrast, the vocals bring a desperate melancholia and unyielding devotion of unrequited love.

The artist is known for his creative musical imprints, spontaneously blending diverse genres to serve up a sound that is uniquely his own. Drawing from his past as Les Affamés (accordion player for French bands), as a guitarist and jam sessions with Soul Asylum and Calvin Russell, he debuted his style in 2022 with single, If You See Her, after a 20 year hiatus. And has since released, six singles and an album.

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
